Pousse Verte
The brand
Pousse Verte is a fictional Montreal company that sells mini intelligent indoor greenhouses. They value environmental ethics and encourage people who don't have the greenest thumb to become more self-sufficient with their products.
My work
I came up with the name "Pousse Verte".  It's French for 'green baby plant' and it's also a play of word about 'green thumb'.  I. chose the font Golden Lights by Phantom Studio for its rounded letters and no serif, for a modern but soft look. I included both text and a symbol to make the logo easily recognizable.  A small growing plant gives out information about the type of brand on the first look. Finally, the logo is well centered by elongating the letter ''P'', to allow for easier web integration and to balance the logo.
Hoot Hoot
The brand
Hoot Hoot is a fictional fun quiz website. They value community, learning, and entertainment. Users can gain badges and rewards by being active members.
My work
Because of the name, I knew I wanted to include owls in the logo. I used the colors provided by the company and came up with this design. I chose to have its head sideways to indicate curiosity and to differentiate it from other brands. I chose the font Super Childish by Fsuarez913 to resonate with the game and entertainment aspect of the brand. It has a 'bouncy' feeling with its curved letters, semi-bold weight and higher contrast. I ended up slightly editing the font to simplify it for better readability.
